Lithos series captures the richness of form and texture representing various rock formations found in the geology of the Northern California Coast. The piece explores the ever-changing textures and colors of the sandy surfaces as they are visually transformed in the viewers eyes by continuously shifting light.
This piece works in tandem with Outcrop III. Both pieces can be displayed together as a diptych.
